Farmall M Conversion from Tricycle to Narrow-Front

Hello - A couple of questions about converting my 1947 "M" with a single front tire (tricycle)to a narrow front end with 2 tires: 1) If "M" hardware can't be found, would "H" narrow-front hardware fit instead? 2) How about 300-400 series narrow-fronts; if located, should these parts be identical to the "M"? How difficult is the narrow-front hardware to locate and is shipping cost generally very high due to weight?
