So much depends upon where you are located and the condishion of the tractor. Tires are expencive if you have to replace them all, paint is cheap. I bought one 2 years ago that needed seals and paint to bring it up to a really good working tractor that gets used alot for $1100, I did more than I needed to to bring it up to what I wanted and spent about another $500 in parts and a winter's worth of fun working on it reringing the engine and replacing the bearings, breaks and clutch but I have a like new machine for one heck of a lot less than what a new one would cost!
