A BN will have the axle housing be the same length on each side, four inches shorter than the B- lots of good answers on YT today. However...some BNs have had the left axle and housing removed and the A parts substituted. Why? Because BN implements are rare, and with the narrow left, A implements can be used, or at least hacked into place. I've seen a BN with this conversion- the owner still had the correct left housing. Best way to tell- serial number.
