Ace, the rear differential shafts and housings on a B are each 4" longer than the same parts on a BN. It makes the rear wheel track 8" wider on a B than on a BN. This means that B's & BN's have different drawbars, foot plates & pedal guards, and the right hand seat bracket is mounted to the top of the differential shaft housing on a B where a BN has the seat bracket mounted on the fender mounting like an A does. You can spot a B because it will have 4" between the right side of the seat and the fender. A BN seat will be tight against the fender.
Engine, transmission, final drives & front ends are the same on both. Both could be bought with single or dual front wheels.
A BN differential shaft & housing are the same length as an A, but are different part numbers and are physically different in that the BN has a boss cast into it for cultivator attachment and the A does not.
