Bob: I sure do understand, I had one Deere in my fleet. It didn't put out the horses the 1066 did but it's horses were more efficient. I sure like that power shift on shuttle work as well. Like you I like to hear all good working tracrors under load. They all have their own unique sound. I have never been around old Massey Harris a lot. This area where I live is loaded with them. The older local guys tell me they had just a great dealer here throughout the 40s and early 50s, and it shows. To the west of us here there must also have been a good Oliver dealer. From what I'm hearing Cockshutt was king from Owen Sound through to Lake Huron. Looks like IH and Deere had that large Erie Shore from Windsor to Niagara. That is just a newcommers impression touring the shows. May be I will get my knuckles wraped.
