Parker: Hydraulics is number one no question. Personally I like the distributor ignition on most Super A better. I say most as there are some Super As with Mags. All of the As were mag ignition from factory.

You also say 53-54. If it is a 54 and after serial number 356001 it will be a Super A1. Only 1,957 of these ever built. They have C-123 engine as oposed to C-113. As well the Super A1 will have factory water pump, beefed up hydraulics and improved brakes. Don't confuse A1 with IA being the Industrial Super A. The Super A1 is actually same as Farmall 100 with Super A sheet metal.
