I had an H pump apart once just to replace gaskets, the only thing I can mention, that the older ones had less pressure than the later ones, also the machining tolerances were alot more open than todays modern pumps, and they were designed to run 30 wt. oil in them, so if you are running hydraulic oil, you may be losing some pressure there.
