Stanley, the fuel adjusting screw is on top of the fuel bowl. Open this up 1 and 1/2 turns. The idle adjustment screw is underneath the carburetor. Open this up 2 and 1/2 turns. After the engine is warmed up, screw in the fuel adjusting screw (in the center of the fuel bowl cover) one notch at a time, until the engine begins to slow down. Then, back this screw back out carefully, until the engine regains full speed, then stop. I hope this helps, Ken
