yes, the tank comes off pretty easy with 4 bolts holding it, but as I recall, you have to remove the dash first, and before you can remove the dash you need to remove the steering wheel. If you have power steering, make sure you don't hammer on the end of the steering shaft, as you'll risk buggering up the seals in your steering valve body. Mine came off with a puller and one light tap to the side of the steering wheel hub. You will also need to remove the cotter pin holding the little bellcrank on the bottom end of the speed control shaft, I think. Not a big deal, but not an easy one to replace if you got big hands. For sealing the tank, I went to a local hot rod shop and got some tank sealer, don't recall the name, but it was not Eastwood, Kreme or any of the other big names. I just cleaned the tank with hot soapy water, rinsed with hot water a couple times, dried it thoroughly, then poured the sealer in and sloshed it around until I figured all the surfaces were coated, let that dry for a day, then did it again, just to be sure.
