Stop leak does create some contraversy, Some say that on the average pickup or auto it treats your heater like a leak and plug it right off. You hear all kinds of bad things about it. I have used it in pickups and never felt it had any serious ill effects. I have always wondered just what I would do if it came to using it on a tractor, such as Super A with thermosyohon cooling system. I have never had to decide that one. That would be my big concren, effects on the thermosyphon system. The other factor being, I suspect stop leak works under preasure where by presure takes it to the leak, and the effect of leak velosity is what makes stop leak work. That being the case and if your thermosyphon is the type not presurized it may do nothing, not even fix your leak. Regular black pepper will do the same job as stop leak.
