I have an M with simular problem. I have it tore down right now. My problem appears to be a blown head gasket. The amount of antifreeze in my case was much less. Could ussually drain off 2 or 3 tablespoons of oil out of the pan after a rather lengthy time. I guess the amount could be alot different depending on where the gasket was leaking and so forth. I had the head off of the old thing after a couple of evenings work. You won't know for sure without a tear down though.
