Hugh, Please clarify what you said by live pto started with the o6 tractors. the reason why I ask this question is that dad bought a farmall 400 new in 1955 and it had live pto. I still own the tractor today and we have a 2ME mounted picker on it.[its retired today as well as my dad @ 80 yrs]. and I am to belive that the mta had live pto,is that correct?

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
