You might check for a colapes rad hose,sometimes the inside of the hose gets to the point that the syphon sucks it in which in turn stops the flow of water.I have a SA with no pump and you can work it all day and never boil over.The level of water needs to be down out of the neck so it will flow easier.Also flush your engine good but unhook the rad,you dodn't want all that rust in your clean rad. GOOD LUCK!!! WILL
