Well, Yes and No. Yes it is a late 1945 model, but no, the digits '45' in the serial number aren't what determine it. The year is determined by the tractor serial number. First, that is the engine number which in this case should match the tractor serial number (not all do). You should find a matching number on a plate under the seat on the left seat support. If you go in the 'Research & Info' section on your left, and go to 'Serial Numbers', then Farmall, then find the A & B series. The table lists the manufacturing year and a starting serial number. 1946 started with #146700, 1945 started with #113218. The HA5 will be documented in the parts book which I don't have in front of me at the moment. Stan(VA).
