Wish I had your problem my 1941 A has not had 30 psi hot oil pressure since I bought it in 1962 and it is running srong after many hours of work. To awnser your question back plate on oil pump is probaly warped. You can either replace or lap down old plate. 30 psi hot is not bad for an A though if it stays out of red at idle I would not be concerned about it. Just my 2 centc others may have different opinion.
