Dan: I am not a mechanic, nor will I even try my limited experience on anything but an old gas 4 cylinder Farmall. I have put about a half dozen injection pumps in diesels, but those are a piece of cake. My dad would never let me touch the old W4 with mag. But from the 51 H on to SA, 300, 130, 504 and now a 140. The diesels I have tinkered with were 560, 656, 1066, JD 329 cu in turbo, 354 Perkins and 6.2 Chevy. And actually of those I have never done any work on 1066 or 354 Perkins. I have installed precicely 5 pumps as I did the Deere twice. I guarentee my Super A will pull three times it's own weight on a stone boat, using a 5' chain. Very few tractors will do that. Try that with a flat bottom stone boat.
