Opinions differ on leaks with the thinner Hy-Tran. I'm using Hy-tran in my 1947 MD transmission with no problems. I think if you are going to have leaks, they will be there regardless if you use 90W or Hy-Tran. Some say gears grind more with Hy-Tran. I've not experienced that. I think if your Lift-All unit is connected up with 30 wt oil in it, there is enough drag from it to stop the gears from turning when you depress the clutch.
