Just a word of caution here! If the extinguisher still contains fluid BE CAREFUL! Chances are it's Carbon Tetrachloride based. These are considered hazardous waste and the fume inhalation from such chemical has been known to cause liver problems. Even ONE exposure to this stuff at close range can be a major problem. If you see the content material labeled pyrene or any such other agent, DON'T GET NEAR IT if it discharges. Most of these hazardous liquid agents were dispensed from brass pump handled small guns as opposed to the upright canisters with the hoses that usually contained water, foam, or soda acid.
