I would go ahead and change the manifold gasket and check the manifold for straightness. M's and H's are popular for that. It should take care of your problem. The gasket is available at Napa or Case IH and comes in two pieces. Good Luck and keep us posted.. See ya Tim K.

ps. The manifold could have a small crack also making it suck air.
