I bought a kit to go from fast hitch to 3pt which consists of two arms with the ball sockets, and a bracket for the top link. My problem is that the lower lift arms are in a fixed position with a welded brace near where the arms come together at the pivot point underneath the tractor. In other words, the lower arms do not swing independently, only a few inches to one side or the other in parallel. Is this brace supposed to be there? If so, how will it work to attach to a 3pt implement with 31" between the pins when the distance between the arms is only 27" ? Any insight would be most appreciated. Pete from PA
