Sam Gerteisen, On my ol 966 I have been useing WIX filters for over 10 yrs now! No problems ,I get mine from a local parts store.
A relative of mine swares by Baldwin filters. He has more equipment than I, He has never had a problem.

PS Not to get into a small oil war here , I use Chevron DELO 400 In her too!!
