Hugh is right on the money....TA's dont go out from being used, they go out from being ABUSED. Back in the early 70's, I fixed 38 TA's one year. Funny part of it was, there were farms that took TA's out of every red tractor they owned while the farm across the road could have just as many red tractors and NEVER have a TA go out. I get tired of hearing how bad an IH TA is from people who simply dont know what they are talking about. Bottom line is.....correct adjustment, clean fluid....and watch the nut that gets loose behind the steering wheel...ha,ha......Rick
