Wil: How long have you had this tractor? Does it have a 12 volt alternator? What is the coil, 6 or 12 volt? If you are running 12 volts and have a 12 volt coil, no resistor is even needed. On most conversions I have done I've used 12 coil. If you ask why, I've watched to many people fool with those damn resistors. I had two of them, the first and last were one in the same.
