Charles: I'm not so sure about this being more than you know but still good to have your input. If Super C engines used the FCM prefix and they started over with 100 and 200 tractors our engine serials sound reasonable considering IH usd that engine in other applications. That considering all 100, 200, 130. 230, 140 and 240 started with serial 501. You were right also on casting codes, 130 has them but not as we know them on all castings. 140 has these also, truly a code that is not the same system as the older ones.
