H clutch bearings

I have the lift all pump dropped out of my H because I had to replace the transmission seals. I understand that I can get the clutch out of the bottom and replace the throw-out bearing but can I also get to the pilot bearing thru the lift all opening? One of the two clutch bearings is making noise (not sure which) when I push in the clutch. I'm assuming that it is the pilot bearing because when I did finally find the grease zerk for it, and gave it a shot of grease, the noise did quiet down a bit. It still makes a little noise though, and I thought now might be the time to replace it.
