I would not worry about the fluid if it meets IH specs it will work fine. The main reason the dealers reccomend Hy Tran is because that is what they have to sell. Hy Tran is reccomened for everything from a 1939 H to the latest 200 Hp tractor and common sense will tell you the transmission design is quite different. It is a sure bet that Case IH does not make the Hy TRan but outsourses it to the lowest bidder. The owners manual for my GM truck reccomends GM oil and transmission fluid but most dealers do not use the GM oil when they service a vehicle
