I dont think anyone has mentioned the fact that in many ares of the country,dealers were few and far between.Where I am at,it was IH all the way,most every farmer around here had old and new ones,old ones being 12s,14s,20s,30s,etc.,newer being letter seires up to 50 series, simply because the closet tractor dealer around is Case/IH.However,some time later a JD dealer came in and the numbers began to even out.Now,we have several brands around here from Case/IH ot Kubota.
