You have an 806 that the oil light still works on???? The wiring harness on mine was toast when I got it and I gutted and rewired what I needed(ign key, starter button and lights). Added oil pressure guage. My factory temp guage is the only thing that still works but it is mechanical. Install a oil pressure guage and forget the light. Unless your tractor has a new harness or the original is in good shape, You probably have shorts and opens that would make the lights indicators unreliable.
