I have a roosa-master on my D-282. To bleed it you open the vents on top of the fuel filters until bubble free fuel flows. Then remove the the line to the pump until fuel flows out of it. The system is then bled. After cranking for 30-45 seconds it should take hold. If this doesn't work for you I would suspect that the pump is bad.
