Hoppy - If changing the high speed mixture setting has no effect and it's starving for gas when you open the throttle, the high speed main metering orifice is plugged. You'll need to disassemble and thoroughly clean the carb bowl and throttle body, and blow out all the passages and orifices.

Incidentally carb number both our SH's is 358 065 R92...
