on my cub with 1000 loader, one valve is for single action for the arms, the other valve is double action for the bucket.
I believe you can buy double action valves and convert to single action. another choice more expensive is to buy stackable valves, end+single action body+double action body+end.
for what it is worth on both of my Olivers 66 and 1650. I have hooked one side of a double acting cylinder up and used it that way, works fine. I believe if I read the book I should change somthing to make this work single action.
