The International (it was designated International rather than McCormick Deering)Fairway 12 tractor was designed to very manuverable (112" radius turning circle) and have low impact on the golf course surface. It was designed to pull a 7 or 9 gang mower or mount a McCormick Deering No. 112 mower for cutting the rough. It was standard with 8" face 24" steel front and 16" face 40" diameter steel rear wheels with "sod-puncher lugs". It had a shipping weight of aproximately 3000 pounds. Standard equipment was; International magneto with impulse coupling, oil filter, fuel pump and strainer, air cleaner, swinging drawbar, foot brake with parking lock, rear pto, fenders, and folding seat. Optional equipment was: no-battery lighting including 2 head lamps and 1 rear lamp, belt pulley, low-pressure tires (front 6.00 x 9 or 6.00 x 16 and 9.00 x 24 rear), steering brakes, distillate or kerosene attachment, radiator screen, radiator guard, composite steering wheel, and spring cushion seat.
