Farmall M -- Hydraulic Problems

Was out plowing corn ground with my M and IH No 70 3-14's, got to the end of the field lifted the plow turned down the next furrow, dropped the plow down, and it went all the way to the bottom of the cylinder. Thought maybe I hit the lever and released the pressure. Lifted it back up pushed the Hydraulic lever back to the stopper to hold the pressure and the plow went all the way down. So, in essense I can lift the plow fine but it won't hold it. any ideas? pump shot?
