Greg: My dad bought the first one of these tractors a Cub when I was 9 years old and then the 130 when I was 16. It was no problem getting on and off back then, and my legs probably weren't as long then as they are now. Certainly not on that Cub. At 60 though I sure apreciate that step. I guess it's not so much the legs as it is what hangs over the belt. The legs aren't quite as flexable as they were back then either. I was driving one day in my truck, CB radio on picked up on a conversation. One guy was complaining about the lunch his good wife had packed for him, "all kinds of fresh garden vegetables," He said," I wonder if she is trying to send me a message." His friend responded," May be she is trying to draw your attention as to how much hangs over the belt". My good better half tends to be a bit more blunt about that subject.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
