Haven't worked on an M, but getting the nuts off the bolts @ bottom of radiator on an H are a real PIA. (IMHO, that is the most miserable job there is on old iron.) On an H, the radiator has to come off to get the water pump off, I'd guess an M is the same. Gotta take the dirt plate off that keeps mud from fan belt, apply lots of PB Blaster (or your favorite rust buster), pull cotter pins & turn the wrench over a kazillion times as you loosen the nuts-studs on mine are fine threads. You can only get about a 1/8 turn on an H & gotta turn the wrench over to get the next bite. You can't get a socket in there on an H. Never tried one of those ratcheting wrenches, but don't think there is enough room. After the nuts are FINALLY off, the rest is easy. Might be more room under there on an M. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
