On the serial number section for 140 you have to look in section called International and Farmall and not just Farmall. These are a good little tractor. I'm rebuilding one right now. I don't like working on the 140 as well as the older Super A or even the 130. IH may call it improvments, I call it bloody knuckles. Seriously though these little tractors are still quite reasonable to rebuild. For the guy who has yard work, a garden, grass to mow and snow to plow. A lot of them haven't been that well taken care of. You'll probably spend a $1,000. to put it in top shape. After that you'll have a lot of years where you don't spend a $100. on repairs.
