According to the Blue Ribbon service manual the porper way to put it together is as described below. I had mine apart last spring, put in new clutch disc and put it back as noted below. When I fastened the pressure plate to the flywheel and took out bolts to maintain pressure, the clutch wouldn't release, ended up pulling it apart again and put old clutch disc back in. working fine. Figured maybe the new disc is that much thicker or something.
