Just want to say thanks to Hugh as one of the few that have faith in the old 6 volt systems. My brothers wanted me to convert it to 12 volt but I held out. Put new battery cables on it and took a small disk grinder to make sure the ground was good. Spins it over like a top. The heaviest cables I could find on short notice was 2 gauge. So far I am happy with that. I paid a visit to my local CaseIH dealer and got a lot of seals, gaskets, etc for my two C's. They may be a little bit more expensive at CaseIH but you know that they are going to fit and work. It was kind of fun getting dirty and greasy for a change. Work in an office so don't get too dirty. Like they say: "You can take the boy out of the farm but you can't take the farm out of the boy". Looking forward to a summer of tractor shows and parades.
