I put new points in my 350U Gas Wheatland 2 weeks ago and things are running better but I am not convinced I have the gap set quite right. The challenge is how do I turn the motor over slowly so I can gap the points just as they are open the widest. One suggestion (and the suggestion in the Operators Manual) is to turn the engine over slowly until the points are at their widest. Easier said than done. One my truck I can do stuff like this by using a socket and breaker bar on the bolt sticking out of the fan belt pulley or I can put it in high gear and push a little bit. I tried that with my tractor and no joy. I tried just blipping the starter motor and it seems that the square part of the shaft is right after the top of the compression stroke. You can get almost to the square part but as soon as you get there the engine continues to turn over. You have all done you points so I know there must be some trick, I just haven't figured it out. If anyone would be willing to share, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Sean
