I know this sounds like an obvious thing, but make sure all the plug wires are going to the right spark plug. I bought a 560, and it ran fine except that it had a slight miss. When you put it under a load, it sounded horrible and had no power. In an unrelated problem, headgasket leak, so had to pull the head and had it redone. Looked at our 666 gas, and the plug wires went to completely different cylinders than the ones we had on the 560. Turns out the 560 had 3 plug wires that weren't to the right place. I know some of you will tell me the tractor won't even run, but I had about three neighbors look at it too, and all agree with me.
