Glad to hear you got it running! No dang rain here yet. I would say the wheat will make it about a month at the most with the moisture we have in the ground, and if it stays cool. Looks like rain coming in the next few days though. I'll be finishing up school around the 15th or so. Actually, I quit last week :o) All my final papers and things are done so it just kinda coasting the last couple of weeks. 2 big final tests is all this semester. Got a job working for a friend - local farmer with nice IH equipment. Broke and seeded 60 acres with a 966 diesel. Man that thing is loud! But it is in cherry condition so it's kinda fun. Put a torque converter in my car today, dang Ford always broke down. he he he Took 2 of us about 6 hours to get it done, biggest problem was the gas tank and exhaust - had to remove to get the tranny out. Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
