Hi Hugh, As for the winter weather in N.S., sure has been a long winter, still quite chilly, today is the first day that is being forecast for a high of 14. Lloyd was with us on saturday when we purchased the plow. Didn't offer much advice on the plow, I was thinking of calling Melvin to take a look at the plow, (might get more confusing). I don't see any name on the plow, Sam thought they were called a "Little Genius" or "The mighty Plow" The auction was in Tatterie Settlement just outside of Tatamgouche, I neglected to ask the owner when was it used last, all of the equipment was in good condition. He had four tractors, the Cub went for $2,100. and the 8n $2,400., the larger tractors went for a little more. I did put some seeds out the other evening in the green house, everybody is getting anxious to start planting. Lloys usually had spinach planted the end of march, as of this date he has not done any planting, Lloyd was laid up most of the winter with a bad back. Lloyd actually let me take and use his backhoe one day when he was unable to move around , first time he ever let me sit behind the wheel of his backhoe. I will probably take the plow to the valley next week as Carole claims I get too much junk around the yard in the city, sometimes I agree but don't admit, can only hide a certain amount in the back yard. Cheers, Murray

The garden was already sprouting when we hooked up the mid-mount shovel cultivators to the Pony. The seed bed was soft enough that the rear end would spin and slowly work its way to the downhill side of the gardens slight incline. From this, we learned our lesson sinc
