need help with pistons liners for a 300

I have grand dads 300 and has been sitting in the shed for several years. It starts and runs but uses a quart of oil a hour and fouls the plugs. Was looking in some parts books for rebuild kits. They make several they say will work. I trust the experience of other owners more than parts salesman. It looks like 350 parts will work in it and will give a little more h.p. What pistons and liners would you recomend. I use the tractor for mowing and putting up hay. Thanks in advance for you help
