After 6 long months of tearing down and repairing leaky seals, gaskets, and pistons, I finally was able to fire her up. When I first got her in September, she leaked everywhere...rear axel seals, oil pan, piston sleeve O-rings, piston rings, steering box, transmission, main engine seals, valves, carb, pto, you name it...it leaked. Also cleaned gallons of sludgy oil out of her. She was in pretty bad shape. Spent about $1200 on seals, gaskets, manuals, tires, and tools to get her just right. Yesterday, I pushed her out, fired her up, and gave all the neighborhood kids rides up and down the street for about 2 hours. NOT A LEAK IN SIGHT !!! I'm just about the happiest guy on the planet. She runs great, blows no smoke, and she's all mine ! Thanks go to everyone here who helped with advice along the way. I'll be ridin' again this weekend ! YeeHaw !!!!
