I'm looking at a neglected C that seems to be very low on hydraulic fluid. I can't even see the fluid level with a flashlight. I have no idea what kind of fluid is in it or how bad the leak is. If it has a bad seal and fluid will enter the engine I'd rather refill it with SAE30 than thin hydraulic fluid. The drain plug is stripped but I will work on getting it out. Where is the suggested fill level? I also heard someone suggest 8 volt batteries for these tractors? Can you buy 8V batteries? Thanks!
