It simply follows their numbering system of 06, 56, 66, 86. The 606 and 656 came before it, when they moved to the 66 series, it became the 666, when they moved to the 86 series it became the 686. If it really offends you ignore it. This is only my opinion, but some of you guys need to get over it and quit making smart comments about such a good model.
