touch control rebuild

I am rebuilding the touch control unit on my Super A. I have it all torn down except the four small plungers that are underneath the two large cylinders. I know these come out because I have a parts breakdown diagram, but there is nothing I can hold to pull them out. I have tried compressed air to push them out; didn't work. Anyone have any ideas? I need help please!
