The gauge won't ever show anything without a radiator shutter because the water out of the bottom of the radiator is always cool. I drilled and tapped a 1/2" NPT hole in the upper water manifold on ly F-20 and relocated my gauge sensor there and it now works great. Did the same thing with my A also. Brian
