Cracked block at the head

Started a restore on a 49 C. When I took the head off and cleaned off the gasket and silicone, I noticed a small crack running the length of the block at the area of the water jacket. How can this be economically fixed? Found a ton of pepper in the radiator as well. Other than that, she started and ran really well. Thanks for the help!
