You could very well be right on that, Hugh. I've never looked into what was in diesel fuel in Europe. Our 686 with the 15:1 stinks so bad when running at low idle, needs to be plugged in at anything below 45 degrees F, much below 0 degrees you might as well not even try. Once it is warmed up and running wide open, however, it runs and pulls so nice on such a small amount of fuel. Our 786 with the 16:1 never fails to amaze me, I've walked up to that one on 0 degree days without it plugged in and it fires right up.
